You might find yourself in a conversation about Web 1.0, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, these words may be considered a terminology that only being talked about within the circle of those who are working in the IT industry but they are actually becoming an area of concern and sometimes a topic for a normal conversation among people working in non-IT fields such as in business and education as well as with other fields.

Sometimes even if it is not our area of concern we like using special terms, and I think nowadays where technology is impacting the most in our lives. It is becoming a norm for people to adapt technical terms down into their normal conversation such as the term wifi, USB, hard drive, hardware, software, apps, etc.

I am including in this post the terms Web 1.0, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 we are already in the phase of WEB 3.0. Web 3.0 is characterized by machine learning, automation, artificial intelligence, in some articles decentralization is also being attributed to web 3.0. In Amazon, you will see recommended products for you, in facebook, you are notified when somebody posted a photo that might include you, in youtube, you also have recommended videos. This what Web 3.0 is all about, the web cares about your online behavior, it analyzes your preferences and from these data accumulated by the web, they will now come to your aid, to present you the information that you need based on your history of internet usage.

I included here a nice video where I talk more about the topic.

I hope that this post has been informative for you. If you have any thoughts about this topic, feel free to comment down below. Peace out!
