Fascination with Wooden Structures

I took this photo over the weekend on an outing with my sweetly-pie to Santa Monica Pier, Ca. I’m always interested in making a picture of something that I have seen several times but am seeking a different perception. It’s amazing that this wooden structure has been standing here for so long.
