U.S. Military Has a New Guide For Overthrowing Foreign Governments
A new 250 page study has been put out by a U.S. Special Forces school to act as a guide to help the military learn how to better overthrow foreign governments.

What's surprising about this news is that it's being covered by a mainstream news media outlet. Mind you it's only one mainstream news outlet, Newsweek, but one is better than none. Newsweek's title for the story is "US Special Forces School Publishes New Guide For Overthrowing Foreign Governments". And that is a pretty in your face title that summarizes what's going on.
"This work will serve as a benchmark reference on resistance movements for the benefit of the special operations community and its civilian leadership."
The military is openly bragging that they are in the business of regime change and taking down foreign governments. The study is titled "Support to Resistance: Strategic Purpose and Effectiveness" and published by Joint Special Operations University under US Special Operations Command which overseas all joint covert and clandestine missions.
The study includes an examination of 47 instances of US Special FOrces intervening in countries from 1941-2003. The Cold War spanned most of that time period, and is a central focus. But it doesn't include some coups, such as Operation AJAX in 1953 which led to the overthrow of Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh.

The study mentions some failed regime change intervention like the failed CIA-backed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba. But overall, it proudly boasts that most "interventions" (overthrow attempts) in the 47 cases were "successful".
"One thing common to all 47 cases reviewed in this study is the fact that the targeted state was ruled either by an unfriendly occupying force or by a repressive authoritarian regime."
Future regime change operations are hinted at:
"Russia and China have boldly demonstrated expansionist tendencies."
The Cold War threat of the communists is being carried over to the rising power of China, and the aftermath of the USSR which is Russia. Both are threats to US hegemony on the global stage.
The study doesn't honestly look at the role the U.S. has played in the chaos in the Middle East, both in the past and present. It's quick to blame the policies and failures of the Soviet Union for the unrest across the Middle East instead. Newsweek summarizes the study conclusions thus:
Of the 47 cases analyzed, 23 were deemed "successful," 20 were designated "failures," two were classified as "partially successful" and two more—both during World War II—were called "inconclusive" as the broader conflict led to an Allied victory anyway. Coercion was the most successful method at a three-quarters rate of success or partial success, while disruption worked just over half the time and regime change only yielded the desired result in 29 percent of the cases reviewed.
Most operations were carried out during wartime conditions, which seems to account for their success. Failed operations to attempt regime change seem to be for countries that were "under peacetime conditions":
Other major findings included observations that most operations "were carried out under wartime conditions, with those being nearly twice as successful as cases conducted under peacetime conditions" and "support to nonviolent civil resistance seems to be more likely to succeed than support to armed resistance." At the same time, they were also "most effective when conducted in direct support of a military campaign rather than as an independent or main effort operation."
As mentioned before, the study doesn't include operations to overthrow governments after 2003, like Libya, Syria, and more such as the current attempts on Venezuela. They do mention Syria as an example to avoid though, suggesting the study can help to influence resistance movement and "thereby possibly helping to prevent the next Syria".
Thanks to this open admission of regime change government-overthrowing operations, future generations of mind-controlled order followers will be trained to accept regime change as not only patriotic, but just and righteous. How wonderful. We can all rest safe knowing the fate of the world rests in the hands of such bright minds.

say what? lol
Sounds a bit scary. We got to look at who all is behind these things.
I don't suppose they would like it at all if we applied those tactics toward the government in DC.
Paint themselves as saviours and people will accept it. Paint the opposition regime as monsters and people will accept it. It's to easy for us to see monsters everywhere that we need protecting from and others need protecting from. Nothing is black and white if it can be put in to a grey area.
