Emergency Hotline
While the artificial intelligence algorithm can detect 93% of heart attack cases, the success rate of emergency line workers is 73%. On the other hand, the algorithm can recognize the crisis in an average of 48 seconds, while this is 80 seconds for emergency helpline employees.

Nikolaj Blomberg of the University of Copenhagen, the leader of the study, says the developed technology works well in cases of out-of-hospital heart attacks.
The system is planned to be used to support the emergency hotline employees, not to replace them. According to Andreas Cleve of Corti, the main idea behind the project is to improve people's performance by supporting manpower with machine learning.

The algorithm is currently used in Copenhagen. Corti announced that it has collaborated with the European Emergency Helpline Association to spread the system throughout Europe. The system will be implemented in four pilot regions in Europe for six months and the results will be announced in 2019. On the other hand, the research team in Copenhagen is planning to use technology this time to detect signs of stroke.
