Dream # 1: "I am hunted by a tiger"

In a section of my dream a tiger or a cheetah had been chasing me and I entered a building. I climb the stairs. I do not see it but I know it's coming up after me. Until I go into an apartment and tell the woman that there is a tiger out there.

I'm 22 years old.

My Interpretation

The dream talks about communicating with an inner part of you that frightens you. This inner part is expressed in the form of a frightening animal. Sometimes it's a dog, sometimes a tiger.

You should check your life about what you are afraid of - a certain person, some form of behavior, etc. - and come to terms with them.

Alternatively, you may ask the tiger in the dream what its message is to you. I'll go even further to suggest that if you find the courage to face the tiger, during the dream, you'll find out it wants to be your friend. For example, it will lick your hand. But it is not easy to find such courage when dreaming.

Possibly. There's actually something I'm pretty afraid of or rather afraid to deal with and it's not a person. And how exactly I manage to get to the point where I return to the dream and ask the tiger what its message is to me. I had already dreamed the dream.

When the tiger comes back to you. And you do not have to wait until it comes back. You can summon it. Before you fall asleep, talk to this imaginary tiger, tell it you're glad it came to you and ask it to reveal its message next time you two meet in a dream. Then tell yourself you're safe and secured and go to bed. The rest will happen at the most appropriate time.

Dream # 2: A lion and lionesses in the dark forest

I am 35 years old and married.

Last night I dreamed that I was on a path on either side of which was a forest. I am almost certain that I was with my mother, and suddenly we see animals - Deer, Wildebeest, etc. As we progress, we see severed heads of animals, and suddenly a few meters away we see a huge lion and lionesses. The lion is chasing us, and I do not run at all because I know there's no chance of escaping it. Indeed, it caught up with me and bit me in the back. I shout to someone in the dream I know (but not in real life), that the lion is biting me and that she must run and call for help.

Then I am in a building near the forest, and this building in the dream is my home. I see that the doors are unlocked and I hear the scary animals from the outside, I try to lock the doors without success. The feeling is of a terrible fear that the animals will enter and eat me and my family. I'd love to hear an explanation.

My Interpretation

To be succint -

You are at a stage where you are required to look inside, to the "mystery" of your soul. You may have already begun to investigate "Who am I?", "What is this reality?" and so. You may be deep in the spiritual world or perhaps you are only doing your first steps. It does not matter.

But there's a fear in your mind about this inner journey into your true-self. As far as you're concerned, it's a dark and scary world (=the forest with the animals), frightening and threatening. The point is that you are already doing this internal investigation, but in the dream you become aware (for the first time?) of what is happening during dreaming, that is, the internal investigation in question.

Once you became aware of that, your ego consciousness, the mind, immediately interpreted the experience as a frightening scene because any spiritual inquiry is an (illusory) threat to the ego. She (your ego) thinks that when you open up to other worlds it will inevitably lead to her death and the extinction of the personality. This, of course, is not true.

To overcome this hurdle, you have to talk to yourself during the waking hours, to tell the mind that there is nothing to worry about and that you are going a natural process of spiritual growth that must occur. There is really nothing to be afraid of, you are with guides who support and protect you (= mother in a dream, the woman you know), and the spiritual journey can be a fun, rich and safe experience.
