Day of Valor "Araw ng Kagitingan"
April 9 is a national holiday in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan during World War II.
A day which we commemorate the fallen soldiers who died during war.

A relative of a World War II veteran who fought in the Battle of Bataan, watches a marching foot parade at the Bataan Provincial Capitol in Balanga last Monday. The parade is part of the province’s series of events that commemorates the Day of Valor or “Araw ng Kagitingan.”
