Closer to my long term goal of reaching 1000 STEEM.
Just deposited around 400 STEEM into my account.
900 STEEM in total, 100 more to reach the psychological level of 4 digits (1000 STEEM), which always thought is a very nice amount of this cryptocurrency to have.
Do you imagine if STEEM ever reaches 25$/token in the next bull run? (My estimation for the next 3-5 years, maybe it can happen sooner than that, but I prefer to think very looooooooooong term).
Do you imagine the size of the rewards and the size of the STEEM ecosystem then?
Always remember that the STEEM rewards that you're getting today can be a big fortune in the future.
1000 STEEM (~450$ at current prices) might not seem a lot right now, but at 25$/token (my conservative estimation if the cryptocurrency world keeps growing like in the past years and STEEM follow up) it's 25.000$.
Not a life-changing amount of money but awesome seeing this activity 'blogging' as a side business.

I think it's going to go much further than 25$!! Being too optimistic is probable that could be the next facebook or instagram. Did you know instagram went from 0 popularity to being the central social network nowadays in about 6 years only?

What if the STEEM blockchain became one of the references as the open source infrastructure for the social networks & emtrepreneur incubator of the future?
Then of course the sky is the limit and we can't imagine how much worth would be our steem stack (+100$/token, don't want to think anything ahead of that number, even in a very optimistic/utopian scenario).
But 'What if not?'.
Then, at least we're making some new friends (and 100% surely our STEEM will still be worth something).

Anyway, I'm taking into consideration a rough estimation of 25$/STEEM with a 3-5 year timeframe from now.
The Steem Ecosystem might doesn't need 'full adoption'. After all this is still somekind of 'proof of concept'
With some flaws, yes. But at least it's working.

Congratulations! There were people that strongly argued steem would reach $100 by the end of 2018 when the last bull run was in full swing. So I'm glad you have a cautious outlook on the price :)
2018 Helped everyone to calm down, myself included.
I've started the previous year a bit desperate (FOMO'ing), after the 90% decrease in prices I feel more confident than ever to accumulate.
