I thought EthOS was just used in mining rigs as an OS alternative to Windows and Linux!
Coinbase fee's are excruciating and their limitation on what cryptos you can buy from them are definitely their two most major weakpoints. Having an app that lowers fee's and allows you to directly access more of the cryptocurrency marketplace by allowing you to invest in the top 100 from coinmarketcap would be amazing and definitely a gamechanger...
However - what would make it even better would be an integrated Cold-Storage wallet with 2FA like Ledger.

you are referring to http://ethosdistro.com/. Not ETHOS. It will have coldstorage wallet, 2fa, and even biometric security :)
