Big Thank You For All the Support for @VoluntaryJapan!
As many of you know, I created an official Steemit account for Voluntary Japan (@voluntaryjapan) last month.
Support for the new account here on Steemit has been amazing. I'd especially like to thank @canadian-coconut and @thejohalfiles for their help in getting the blog off the ground. Also, @taliakerch! Thanks to everyone who has followed and curated posts!
What is Voluntary Japan?
Basically, it's a loose association of Voluntaryists, both in Japan and elsewhere, seeking to spread the philosophy of voluntaryism in Japan, and around the world. The revolution is ultimately a philosophical one, as it is ideas which ultimately change individuals, and not coercion, force, or even persuasion.
What is Voluntary Japan doing/involved in?
- Unschooling meetups/free schooling in Japan
- Principled Voluntaryist content creation (Facebook, YouTube, Steemit, Twitter, DLive, etc.)
- Journalism/Interviews
- Volunteering @ local farms, free schools, nursing homes, etc.
- Inter-community barter/trade, crypto
How can you get involved?
Networking is huge. Especially for the seemingly rare gem that is a principled anarchist in human form! If you are in Japan it's all the better, but even if you are not, and still wish to be a part of this unofficial-yet-determined-as-hell effort, there are a few things that would be beneficial to spreading the philosophy:
- FACEBOOK PAGE COULD USE SOME PRINCIPLED ADMINS.
- FOR THOSE IN JAPAN, LET'S NETWORK AND TALK SKILLS AND TRADE!
- THOSE WHO WANT TO HELP FINANCIALLY CAN DONATE STEEM, SBD, or BCH (see QR code in thumbnail image)
Donations help pay for: Unschooling events/meetups, Content creation, Interview travel expenses, Permaculture organic farming, Volunteer activities, etc.
Also, check our blockchain based fundraising page on fundition.io
Thanks for your support! And don't forget to follow @VoluntaryJapan here on Steemit!
