#untalented-adjustments - Amazing adjustments that have happened to my life since I found steemit.

I was really encouraged to write this post for those who are new in this community like me. I believe that great things come to those who wait. And I never expected to go this far in Steemit. And it really warmed my heart when I saw my story being featured. Sometime in the first week of December last year, when we went out for dinner with my best friends, I saw my friend @shirleynpenalosa taking pictures of us and our food. I asked her about it and she said she was going to post a story about our dinner. I was curious and I saw her holding a small notebook, and asked her again what is it for. Then she told me that it is where she makes a draft of her stories to be posted. She told us that it's her sideline and she's making money out of it just by posting. I negatively told her that it's not my forte to write stories or any articles because I felt like I am back in my high school years thinking of writing an essay. So I just ignored it. One week after, I also saw my husband @fherdz writing an article and I asked him about it and he told me that our friend also invited him to join. Well, I was thinking maybe it really is fun to join. Though hesitant about it, I told myself why not try it? So I signed up as well and waited for my account to be approved. After 2 weeks of waiting, I received an email last January that my account has been approved. And so I started to post my self introduction. I was a bit disappointed because it did not earn much as I expected and I was like, 'it's okay, just post and post. So as the days went by, as I was posting and sharing my stories everyday, I really enjoyed it. It never occurred to me that I would be this active in posting and sharing my stories and the good thing is, I also gained new friends. As I read their stories, I never thought that they were also going through tough times. And what makes it even surprising is that it never dawned me that writing my story from the heart creates a vivid imagination from the past. Like it just happened yesterday. I am not a good writer actually.It just happens than when I start to write, I let my emotions get in me so that I can express myself through writing. I never even thought that one of my stories would be featured and it really is an overwhelming experience for me.

When I saw this comment on my post, I was so excited that I wrote another story from it.

I am still new in this community and have a lot to learn. This simple message inspired me to just write and post and share my stories because this platform did not only awaken this side of me but I was also captivated by it. I learned not just how to write but to let my emotions work so that I can freely express myself. Let us not look at how much we will earn but let us be inspired to write knowing that as we share our stories, others may also be blessed . I want to also thank my friends who always encouraged and motivated me to just post and post,they always tell me that it is not about the earnings but your story that can be an inspiration to others also and to @creativesoul for choosing one of my stories.God bless everyone!!!
