Dear Diary: Ways That I Will Fight the Side-Effects of My Medicine
I can't raise the flag of submission, I will fight until I could overcome this troubling physical inconveniences brought by my needed medicine. I just maybe need some time to adjust and I have all the time in the world to wait until my body hopefully could tolerate the raging side-effects of my cure to my hyperparathyroid and dI see it as another battle to be fought with utmost determination or the consequences will be just another painful defeat.
So what will be my plans? I will ty to eat. I will request my mother to cook for me a recipe familiar to some of you. It is just another version of a blood stew but no blood because of my spiritual reasons. OK I will tell, it is forbidden for Christians to eat blood butt more of that later.
My mother is just experimenting in a lot of foods lately and I don't like the resulting dish. Maybe probably its just when she brings me the food it is already cold but this last dish of a shredded sauteed milkfish doesn't suit my taste so this day I skipped a lot of meal and just ate maybe 150 calories worth of bread and some pineapple juice, I just can't eat.
But I requested my mother to cook some stew of pork. It is just a ssmple dish similar to adobo but with some mildly hot green chilis. It supposed to have some pork blood but it will not for the reasons above. I think that I can eat today because I already can feel my hunger for that dish, it is a pork stewed in vinegar, that's all and there isn't much variety in our dishes here, the reason I am quite skinny because I often would not like the tastes of the food that is served, now that I have an appetite issues.
These things gave me the more reasons and longing for cooking so I can finally create my own dishes without disliking the tastes. How soon that time would come I don't know but I am trying to get back up again from all these problems in my health that I am always facing. But one thing is really for sure, there is an appetite problem and I will solve it.

I am finding it hard to live like this with this loss of appetite.
Have you tried cannabis of any type? It's the best, and only, medicine for increasing appetite that I know of. That's why everyone knows it "gives you the munchies." Most people see that as a silly thing to make jokes about, but for people with chronic illness and other reasons for upset tummy and lack of appetite, it's downright miraculous! It's still illegal where I live, but being able to eat a good meal outweighs that cruel and inhumane law, simply based on humanity and compassion. Considering benefits vs. risk, and a life at stake, obviously there's no debate. Idk what's available or how in the Philippines, but something to think about. :)
I haven't tried Cannabis @cubbyworks But I would even consider buying some if available and also legal because I know that it helps with appetite.
Right now I am just drinking some pineapple juice when I am starting to taste bitter in my mouth. It helps a little but I hope to manage.
Mother is cooking what I told her to cook and I hope that I also can eat better today.
I also can't give up my medicine as it works wonders in my body because I can feel some relief from my body pains when taking it.

The fact that the gastric juices in your belly are bringing on some hunger pangs is a good signs. Other's (not you of course) should not ignore these as they are positive.
