Attacking the Gambling Games, SI Bloody

Police have attacked police for obstructing gambling at the Baishakhi fair in Akkania area of
Kachua upazila of Chandpur on Saturday. A police officer was injured in this. A member of the Union Parishad (UP) has been arrested in this incident.
According to police and local sources, local people organized fair fairs on Paa Baishakh every year in the field adjacent to Akkania Nupura Market. But the charge raises a group of young people in the name of the fair. The deputy police inspector (SI) Mahbubur Rahman halted him. The rookie was attacked by the gamblers. His head was bleeding in the attack. A team led by Inspector (investigation) Mohammad Shahjahan Kamal of Kachua Police Station recovered the information and recovered the SI Mahbubur Rahman. He was admitted to Kachua Upazila Health Complex. Later, he was sent to Rajarbagh Police Line Hospital, Dhaka for better treatment.
Kachua Police Station OC Syed Mahbubur Rahman said several people from the area including local MP Abdul Momen were involved in the incident. Momin was arrested The case is under preparation in the Kachua police station.
