Introducing to You, Outreach Partners Support - Station 611
It is our honour to present to you today one of our outreach partners that we have been supporting almost a year now.
Station 611, though sounded like a fancy district name, is actually a non profit social welfare center that is open to its nearby residents, particularly senior citizens who are under privileged, to enjoy some fellowship among peers and also some tasty snacks.
Recently as we have mentioned that we received 100 cartons of UHT milk and we have been distributing to outreaches and centers, and Station 611 is one of our receiving point for under privileged families.
They were even blessed with a community shared cooler where we can place the milk there so that seniors can enjoy some chilled milk during gatherings and meal time.
As you can see on this photo, it's not just a place where seniors come to hang out for a meal, you will notice that volunteers there also spend time having a meal with them; even though they are just packed rice.
Sometimes seniors do not really need constant lavishing of expensive items or even high tech gadgets; most of the time a simple chat over the table is all they ever needed to live another day meaningfully.
You never know, you can learn a thing or two from their rich experiences throughout their lifetime, and when you see them racing, strolling, struggling even towards the end of their journey of life, you can't help but to number your days much carefully with thanksgiving.
As it is written so well in Psalm 90:
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom...
... Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalm: 12,14
Every day is a valuable count for each and every one of us, and moreso to the volunteers and recipients in Station 611; and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to be part of the support source to bring some smiles for them whenever we can.

We are currently still praying and sourcing for 1 cooler and 1 freezer (after looking at the incoming supplies) that will enable us to park most perishable items while planning a more cost effective logistic expenses while waiting for outreach and centers to come collect them.
Do pray along with us.
