You have to let your VP recover once in a while and it's a a good plan to not go lower than 60%. Another issue related to this is bandwidth, and if you lose bandwidth you could get locked out of posting, and voting all together. From what I've read, at that point you'll have no option but to get some SP delegated to your account to get going again. There are several sites that will list your VP and bandwidth. Not telling you what to use, but I get my info from Steemworld dot org. It lists your VP right on the first page, your bandwidth under account details, and it provides a convenient way to track responses to any comments you have made. Greetings!
Keeping my voting power up is definitely a struggle for me. Thankfully I don't have any problems with bandwidth because I use Steemit on my smartphone. 😊 Thanks for your comment!! :) I'll have to check out that website sometime, currently my go to website is steemnow, but it sounds like the one you use is more detailed.
Unfortunately this bandwidth has nothing to do with wireless transmission, but with your activities on the platform, regardless of the device you are using.
Oh, I see, well I never got low to my knowledge, and steemworld showed a pretty high number. I'm a noob, so the more active you are, the more your bandwidth goes down?
That is correct. Writing the previous comment to you, my bandwidth dropped 2%. There are other factors, but I do not know what they are. When I post, or comment a lot it will drop in to the 80 or 70% range and recover after a period of inactivity.
Ah, I see. Thanks for the info! :)
