Foreign Literature

Foreign Literature "was founded in 1980 and is one of the longest running and most influential professional academic journals in the field of domestic and foreign literature research. Our journal is edited by researchers from the Institute of Foreign Literature at Beijing Foreign Studies University. We have hired renowned scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds to form an editorial board and implement anonymous peer review. Famous scholars such as Wang Zuoliang and Hu Wenzhong have served as editors in chief of this magazine, and the current editor in chief is Professor Jin Li. The publication mainly targets foreign literature researchers and enthusiasts, paying extensive attention to the languages and literature of various ethnic groups around the world. It focuses on introducing the trends and developments in research and critical theories of foreign writers' works, publishing the latest achievements in foreign literature research, and promoting academic dialogue between different countries, regions, and cultures. Advocate in-depth research and new exploration, while adhering to literary characteristics, pursuing a broad perspective, accurate, concise, natural and fresh writing style, and committed to creating a diverse and lively academic atmosphere. It is currently a bimonthly 16mo publication with columns such as "Comment", "Theory", "Cultural Studies", and "Book Review". It is a Chinese core journal, a source journal of China Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), and a core journal of China Humanities and Social Sciences Journal AMI Comprehensive Evaluation A. Organize national academic seminars every year.
