Firstly is taxation. If that isnt interference, I'll eat my hat.
Secondly, currency is just a tool.
A hammer can be used to build a house, break a window or crush a skull.
All worthwhile tools can be used by their posessers, for good or ill.
As soon as an authority can legislate how a tool can be used, it interfers with the creativity (good or bad) of the posessors/creator of said tool.
