Actifit Month One: Stats, App v0.3, Charity Support, ~50k SP and more

Today Actifit celebrates one month! 30 days ago we announced our project Actifit, an SMT that rewards being active via Actifit tokens and Steem upvotes on the Steem blockchain.
We were amazed by the community's positive response, which has helped us grow every day and reach big milestones within such a short period of time.
Below you will find some more updates about the project, delegation status, as well as details about what to expect to find in the latest version of the app including charity support.

One Month in Numbers

We have been quite busy and crazy active during this month. We created our official website, we automated a lot of our processes, grew our discord to around 200 members with the help of 10 moderators. We onboarded 3 ambassadors, 3 athletes, and 2 social media managers.
All of this fantastic team is listed on actifit.io.
We also released 3 versions of our Android app, the most recent of which, v0.3 beta, has been released few hours ago. (Actifit is an open source project on github.)
Actifit has been constantly receiving an increasing number of contributions on a daily basis submitted via the app, with successful proof of activity as depicted via the app. Few days ago, those numbers have reached new milestones hitting around 100 activities per day. While we will prepare a more detailed report about the growth, yet the total number of actifit tokens that have been distributed so far, as shown on our official website - actifit.io, is around 380K Actifit tokens (number is actually larger as delegator payments are calculated weekly) to over 6k steemit accounts (including delegators, contributors, upvoters/resteemers...), and to over 1,300 contributions.

Also utilizing our growing delegated SP, which is approaching 50K SP ( today we reached over 47K SP), we were able to reward all those contributions via upvotes, but also provide rewards back to our delegators!
A big thank you to all our delegators for their support, who reached 94 delegators at this moment.
Delegators earn daily Actifit tokens with a 1:1 match to their delegated SP, as well as a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts. So if you delegate 500 SP, you earn daily 500 Actifit tokens (up to a max total cap of 100,000 Actifit tokens per day).

Android v0.3 beta

Earlier today, we released v0.3 beta to google playstore , whereby it should already be available for update/download. This included a set of new features that would make the lives of users much easier, and also some which were long awaited as well as bug fixes. We will announce some of the key features below

Wallet Support:

While within the month we added support to allow users to view their wallet balance from our website, we also decided for better usability to make this available from within the app. Hence the app now supports a "Wallet" screen that allows the display of your current total Actifit tokens balance, along with the detailed transaction that led to this balance.

Lock Screen Display & Aggressive Background Tracking:

For ease of access to your activity count, we added a continuous display notification available on your lock screen that allows automate tracking and display of your current activity count.
We also included a long awaited fix whereby on some phones models/Android versions the application was unable to capture movement when phone is closed. For this purpose, a new setting has been added under the name "Aggressive Background Tracking", which when turned on will resolve the issue for affected phone models.

Donate to Charity:

We implemented this feature to allow any charity to receive support from steemians who are willing to donate their rewards. This came to us as a suggestion from our acfitift ambassador @taskmaster4450, following some communication he had with the mannabase team, and we thought this is a fantastic idea!
So this feature is now part of the current release. At the moment we haven't added any particular charity to the list, so any active charity on steemit can benefit from this feature, whereby anyone interested to donate can do so via their daily activity.
If you are/know a charity you would like added to the list, please have them contact us to coordinate doing that, and the option will be available to all users.

Tracking Measurements:

We believe a part of any activity tracker is to allow tracking of your measurements progress, which is why we added a part for that while posting your daily activity.
While this is not a required part, especially if you're not too fond of taking measurements daily, yet this is available now in terms of tracking your weight, body fat,...

Abuse Prevention:

We have implemented few measures to also minimize the potential for abuse. This included a limitation of one single post per day. This is now built into the app, instead of relying on our rewarding bot, as there were few caveats before with this approach.
Along similar lines, we also implemented a min required word count when describing your daily activity/post content, so as everyone submitting their activity will be required to type useful information about their day, in at least 30 words or more.

We are looking forward to grow this project further, we have lot of plans piled, including but not limited to the following:

• Creating an iOS version
• Integrating with wearables
• Adding image upload functionality from the app
• Adding calories, distance, GPS, and time tracking
• Adding goal tracking
• Adding music playing functionality
• Adding a forget credentials option
• Graphics based and look and feel enhancements
• Website updates
• Increasing exposure to Steemians
• Bringing in fresh audience to Steemit/Actifit
• More updates on the financial plans, the white paper,...
