Add Features and Interface in Energize - Battery Monitor Android App
Components
Energize is open source android application is for monitoring our battery state and provide useful information about the current charging level, the estimated time to charge or discharge and some more useful information. You can see full description here and GitHub repository here.
Proposal
My suggestion is add new features for this application there is "Application Usage" in menu/home of the application, this features is purpose to show/sort the percentage of applications which use the power from the most usage to minim usage then we can force stop that application to save the power of battery or usually its called by task manager.
Mockups / Examples
Before adding the features :
Application Home/Menu
After adding the features and interface
Application Usage menu
!
view of application usage menu, we can see the application have much take the power
For example, we force stop WhatsApp application that takes 23% of power
Benefits
With adding this feature can make this application more useful, we not just monitoring Battery usage but we can stop the application that takes more power which can make battery hot and wasteful by showing the percentage of it. I think if this application just for monitoring battery usage and temperature it can't be useful because almost all of smartphone provide battery monitoring . So in this part I suggest to make monitoring and application usage(task manager) include in one application.
