Include a Retake option in the application

The camera application is an open-source application and it can be used to take two separate pictures as one picture. The application is easy to use and has very good filters for picture. While using the application I noticed that some new features can added to the application.

Proposal

I will suggest that the application adds an option that allows users to Retake pictures before they are saved or exported.

When using a camera, most times our first picture is not always the perfect one so we try over and over again before we get a perfect one.

Using this application, when the first picture is taken it stays automatically and users are not allowed to retake any of the pictures again. In scenario where a users takes the first picture and second picture and notices there is a fault in the first picture, the user cannot retake the picture. In this case the user will have to discard the first and second picture and if the user likes the second picture it means they have to discard it and reopen the application to start again.

Also, retake feature is used to take pictures over and over again, and the application works in a split screen so users can decide if they want to retake the first picture (top) or the second picture (below).

I will like to suggest that a Retake feature should be added to the application. It can be in form of an icon, detailed illustration can be found below.

Looking at the image above the picture below seems to be blurry, would love to retake but i can not but if there was a retake feature it would have been possible.
After the retake feature is selected users can use the camera again to take another picture till the user is satisfied and they can save, share or export.

Benefits

For camera like this with very a special ability of taking two pictures in one (in a collage manner), the importance of a Retake feature cannot be over emphasized.
With this feature users will not have to discard a loved picture just because the do not like the second picture on the split screen. They can easily retake the picture they do not like until they are satisfied.
Also, this feature will increase satisfaction for users because this feature will give users a second chance or more to correct any mistake and fault especially in a case where one of the picture is blurry.

The retake feature is very important for this application and should be considered.
