RE: Actifit Updates: Actifit.io , Sponsored Athletes, Utopian VIPO and more

in #utopian-io6 years ago

I have installed app, tried it and uninstalled after. I really like idea that you have but you have to connect app with Google Fit. At moment your app has to be active on the main screen to count movements so if you are using your phone on any other way, it does not count movements. At least that was case with me. If you change that and Actifit app passively count movements you will have much more users, I will be among them.

@cicbar thank you for the feedback!
As @moderndayhippie mentioned, and as is the case for most of our users, the app working perfectly in background mode.
Yes there are few reports similar to yours, and we are working on fixing this issue as it can definitely be annoying to you and others. As you have guessed it, this is a combination between hardware and software issue.
We should have an updated version with a fix in the coming few days. Stay tuned :)

Thanks. looking forward for fixed App 😀

HUH... That isn't the case for me? I have had this app for about 3 weeks, and although I do have to bring it up in the morning to get the app to start counting, after that I close it out and the app just runs in the back round.. It works while I'm doing all kinds of other stuff on my phone..

Maybe it doesn’t work same on every phone. I have Huawei P20 Pro... but I am glad to hear that App works like it should even if it is not case with me. Thanks 😀

Oh, maybe. Sorry to hear about your troubles with the app.. get on the @actifit discord and talk to @mcfarhat (the creator of actifit), tell him your issues and he might be able to help you out.. he is a great guy. Good luck with everything, I hope to see you posting in actifit tag soon :)

For me its running fine in the background. So far I enjoyed it.
