Suggestion on adding version and new update notification feature to Sicmu player.

Components

Sicmu player application is an open-source android application that enables users to play music on their devices with ease, it has sophisticated features such as shake to switch songs, shuffle, repeat etc

Proposal

I suggest that the update option and version of the current application should be added to Sicmu player application. This will help users get notify when there is new updates on the app, and also help them know when last the repository was updated instead of having going to playstore every time to check for updates.

The screenshot shows where this feature will be placed.. It should be placed under settings for users to check for new updates.

Benefits

This will benefit the users by either checking for an update or by getting notification in the application whenever there's new updates on playstore directly from the app, It will ease users who love this application the stress of going to playstore each time to check for new updates.
