Utopian.io Reddit Analyzer - Reddit Analysis Auth / v1.1 Release
Repository
https://github.com/dogancankilment/utopian-io-reddit
Open source django web project for analyzing the utopian-io entries "reddit.com/r/utopianio" on reddit.
For a long time, every time I logged into utopian.io, on the right side, I saw the reddit script and the link. I thought that I should analyze the shares made on this link. As you know from the reddit, many titles are opened and tracked as content, and you can already access and use the reddit service with an rss service.First, I created a django web project to analyze the sharing that takes place here with the table and filtering features. For this filtering, I also used the method I used to pull data from the python language library, FeedParser, which I can run on django (get the rss data).With Rss, I can show the results with some filtering features, which I have taken on the dataset. These filters; entries count, entry title, entry author, entry author_detail full url, entry link. entry updated date, full result.
New Features
This contribution covers one feature;
Reddit Analysis Auth (v1.1 Release)
The Reddit analyzer project was working in a static structure. It was only analyzing the statically typed utopian url on reddit. The first development was to allow the form to respond when another url is entered. I have made it possible to analyze the subject of any reddit topic. Finally it would be able to respond to any url entered and perform rss analysis. After doing this, I made user profile entanglement. I turned this form to login_required. It means user must be login for rss analysis process. Of course I removed the anonymous identities from the middle. Same time with this feature, I created a structure that would save the queries that the user made, into the database. In this way, retrospective query has become possible. I've created a page for the user's query history. This page work with user foreign key object (it means query filter work for which user question).
Here are the changes for this release;
