Build react apps with ES2017 support and more!

in #utopian-io6 years ago (edited)

Today I'm glad to present to you my latest work, It's a new react boilerplate with webpack and babel for building and compiling your ES2015+ code.

But that's not all! It's even capable of handle CSS and image imports, so you don't need to worry about adding the CSS link or icon links.

Since it's using Webpack 3 the scope hoisting is enable.

Basically modules get wrapped into functions isolating their scope while imports get transpiled into variables holding the result of a Webpack require function.

As you can see the boilerplate comes with the same "Hello word" page that create-react-app is using.
That's because I want that you feel exactly as if it were made with that package but with some extra features thanks to babel and webpack

And even more it will optimize the performance of Stateless components up to a 45%! thanks to transform-react-inline-elements babel's plugin which does exactly the same that is discussed here)

Go to the Github repository, fork it and start making your new React project in just one minute!

I will leave a screenshot of the github with my account logged in as required

And I hope you like this boilerplate but I wish even more to see people using it
