Suggestion : Making Drupal Installation Easier and Minimize the Effect in Change Template

Drupal is software Content Management System (CMS) open and free Open source which is licensed under the GPL. Development done by many users all over the world. This includes Drupal CMS that is already trusted and popular among the users of the CMS and website developer.

Today I choose https://github.com/drupal/drupal to make a contribution about suggestion repository. As an author of a blog I ever try some Content management System Like Wordpress, Jomla, Blogger, Blogroll and I installed drupal CMS also for my blog site. But I found the differences when do the installation.

Installing drupal more difficult than wordpress and others CMS for a blog site.
The Advantages of using Drupal CMS :

  • Drupal CMS is able to categorize and also classify the content that exists in the complex.
  • Drupal CMS supports several kinds of Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
  • Drupal CMS is faster than Joomla and wordpress CMS.

Beside of these advantages above of using drupal cms, I found some strange using drupal because I can not change template as I want and the installation is difficult.

I suggest to Drupal CMS to make installation shorter than before and also add the module and feature to minimize effect when change template also less using script code because the beginner will not understand about that.
