Introduction

NiceHash Miner Legacy is a continuation of NiceHash Miner v1. This version is intended for experienced miners who want the quickest updates and highest hashrates, and are okay with some customization of the software and antivirus. If you are new to mining, please check out the new NiceHash Miner v2 for a simpler start at earning Bitcoins with your idle GPU & CPU.

Server location

Server location is the location that you're going to make a connection to from your mining rig.

So how you're going to find the best server for your current location?

You've to make ping by using nicehash test servers.

  • speedtest.eu.nicehash.com
  • speedtest.usa.nicehash.com
  • speedtest.hk.nicehash.com
  • speedtest.jp.nicehash.com
  • speedtest.br.nicehash.com
  • speedtest.in.nicehash.com

for example:
ping -n 50 -l 128 speedtest.eu.nicehash.com

Then hit enter.

then repeat that on all other servers.

for more details about that part

Bitcoin Address

is your wallet address you can't change it after you mine to it.
I mean the current balance can't be moved to a new address. because it is supposed to be anonymous miner so always choose an address from a safe and trusted wallet.

Worker Name

it has no effect on your balance or mining or anything.
just a name to define every mining rig if you've more than one.
and it can be anything you want. also can be useful for mining issues to know where is the issue came from.

Device Section

NHML_screenshot.PNG

By Selecting the device that means you're going to mine using it.
Unselect if don't want to mine from it.

You can find CPU or GPU.

Group/Device Rates

Sketch.png

Here you can find your current running devices. It can be GPU or CPU also you can find your current mining Algorithm and your daily estimated profit you can change it to hourly etc.. I will explain it later in the other parts.

Check your online stats

from your miner interface or your browser
Go to:
https://www.nicehash.com/miner/yourbitcoinaddress

Sketch.png

Here you can find more detailed balances
also your current workers can be different from your miner as the nicehash online stats is based on algorithm not worker GPU or CPU.

Projected payout

is your total balance and when you're going to get paid.

Payment schedule for sellers:

  • Once per day for NiceHash wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.001 BTC.
  • Once per day for external wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.1 BTC.
  • Once per week for external wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.01 BTC.**

Interactive history

hover the mouse on that graph and you will find your profit every minute and expected profit, algorithm and lots of details.
