It's very much a scattergun approach, looking at this question for the first time and trying different ways to find an answer.

I think that people can take different conclusions from the stats. I would say that one of the key take-aways is not to expect your blogging earnings to grow at the same rate as the Steem price, not to consider this as the natural progression. You have to continually raise your game to maintain your ranking if you want that kind of growth.

But it's true that the average earnings and the "next 3" authors saw some growth, so some benefit from the rising Steem price. So yes, the old habits look like they will earn more over time, just not as much as the phenomenal growth in the Steem price itself.
