• A contribution must contain ...benefits of your work to the project owner.

• Why are you sure the want a bird as their logo? FYI they use elephant as their logo because Postbird is PostgreSQL GUI client, PostgreSQL logo is an elephant. thats why they use elephant in this project

• You logo lost a lot of details in one color
  

Suggestions:

• Try to understand the project that you are contributing to.
• Make sure your logo not looks so different in one color when compared to full color logo
