The Jakarta Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum is a museum located in a tourist area of the old city in West Jakarta. Based on the sources we got, the building of the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum was first built in 1870 by architect Jhe. W.H.F.H. van Raders during the reign of Governor General Pieter Miyer to be used as Rad van Justitie or the Court Office.

- In 1949, the building was used by the KNIL as a means of the Military Nederlansche Mission (NMM) which was then handed over to the Indonesian National Army (TNI) as a logistics warehouse.
- In 1970-1973, the old building of the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum had been used as the Mayor's office West Jakarta.
- In 1974, it was used as the Office of the Museum and History.
- On August 20, 1976, the old building was inaugurated as the Fine Arts Center by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Soeharto (deceased) at the initiative of Adam Malik.
- On June 10, 1977 some of this building was inaugurated as the Ceramic Museum by Governor Ali Sadikin.
*Finally, in the early 1990s, the Fine Arts and Ceramic Museum was incorporated into the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum which was managed by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
