Add "file size" to Joplin notes.
Components
Joplin is a free, open source note taking and to-do application, which can handle a large number of notes organised into notebooks. The notes are searchable, can be copied, tagged and modified. The Android application supports markdown rendering.
Proposal
It is pertinent to have file size display on every application as this one because it lets users read their device storage usage. Developers of theJoplin note app should consider implementing this feature to the meta info section of the app. Users with low storage can decide easily which file to keep or do away with. It would be a nice experience to know the size of each note or file on my device.
Mockups / Examples
The application lacks the suggested feature. See the first screen shot for proof. The second screen shot shows what it would look like if implemented.
Benefits
The need for this feature is to make space management very easy for users as it would help users know the sizes of each file on their devices. If a user has to submit a project with a given file size, this feature sets in to play it's best role. Some users whose devices have low memory or storage space may want to delete files based on their sizes, this is where the suggested feature also comes in. It would be a plus to the application if this is considered and implemented.
