Add search option and sort by feature to make this app better.

Components

Prodigal music player is a music application that allows you to play music on any android device and it is fully open source. It plays any type of audio format and has a unique and beautiful User interface.

It is a really nice software and runs smoothly yet it lacks this basic function: The ability for users to set a sort order on albums playlists and tracks. It does not even have an option to search music files and it is really bad for an app like this to lack such features.

Proposal

My suggestion is for sort order to be implemented on prodigal music player so users can sort tracks however they want it depending on the premise the app defines. Other similar applications have sort options that include features like A-Z, Z-A, YEAR, ARTIST, ALBUM, DURATION DATE ADDED/MODIFIED and FILENAME etc. Same or more should be implemented on this beautiful player to make it better. Also the search option should be added so users can simply type find songs by simply searching their titles.

When click on the sort by button, the next page should appear shown on the below screen shot

While the search button gives space to type in the title of the file users are looking for.

Benefits

Users would be able to locate songs by simply searching their titles, while the sort option gives users the ability to arrange their track list in the manner they want it. Users who have hundreds of good songs on their devices would find this feature really good as it tend to solve the problem of having to scroll through the device every time to select a particular song(s).
