Banner+Logo contribution for SteemRocks

Hello everyone!
I have seen the demand for a logo and a banner for SteemRocks so I will propose a logo and a banner.
The choice of the final concept was made after several sketches. In the presented concept I tried to combine as many elements in a minimalist way.
I created several stones of an abstract form "ROCKS" even though I know what the application designer is referring to. And I connected them to represent the connectivity.
In the key moments of design, screen shots were created to see the design stages and in the next few lines I will explain step by step how I came to the final concept.

1. I started by creating a hexagon that is the basis for forming the shapes that will represent the stones.

2. After forming the base shape, we began cutting the shape through several lines along and across the shape to start creating the stones.

3.Forma being sectioned I have colored different sections differently to make myself easier in the next steps.

4.I split the shapes and started to offer them a more fluid form to symbolize the stones.

5.Forms being finished, we applied two circles inside each of them and we joined each other with circles through several lines.

6.Lines being drawn I started cutting them leaving empty space in their place to make the design as interesting as possible.

7.The logotype being finalized began with its presentation.

I mention that the logo has been created in Adobe Illustrator so it is completely scalable and editable.

I'm willing to bring any changes to the concept if I'm going to ask for it.
