Benefits and improvements
First i choose 3 keywords to represents to the name of the project. These; letter b(the project name), candle and cake cream. I used the classic orange gradient color for the candle fire. Then I used black as a complementary color. I chose this font because the letter B in the round form is compatible with the icon.

The logo design looks okay, but in my opinion using the first letter of the project name is not necessary for such a project. I think the logo design could be stronger if you combine only candle and cake cream ideas.
