Counter is an open source tally counter for Android. It makes counting easier. You can have multiple counters with their own names and values. Values can be changed using volume buttons. No ads. No unnecessary permissions required.This is an open source application.

As I was using this android open-source application named “ Counter ”, I had noticed that the said application has no App Information and Online Backup or Account Log-in System on the Settings section. Therefore, I concluded that there is something lacking within the said application. Somehow, the lacking features which I am referring to is two of the most important feature an application should have. Also, at some point, the said features should be added to the Settings section of the application in order for the users to have an idea about the application and for the security and assurance of their works done. In short, saved or backup of the tasks done.

Example Situation (To know and better understand the importance of this suggestion)

The situation wherein you are using “ Counter ” not knowing what really is it for because it has no information. Also, the application has no tips or instructions on how to use it. It will cause you trouble in knowing its function. Aside from that you are using “ Counter ” while counting yet, you accidentally closed the application, haven’t saved what you have done and ended up with no back up of it so all you have done well serve as “ good for nothing ”. With this kind of situation, any user of the said application will be having such undesirable point of view and actions with the said application.

Proposal

From the given situation above, the title of this contribution suggests that the developers of Counter should add a APPLICATION INFORMATION AND ONLINE BACKUP OR ACCOUNT LOG-IN SYSTEM. In order to make this suggestion possible, the Counter developers should make some enhancement on their application from which this suggestion will be included and so as to be implemented. To make this suggestion easier to interpret, the author of this contribution post provided the current format as well as his suggested format.

1. The users of the application will be given an immediate idea (easily understand the function or purpose of the application) about the application and also, they will have the assurance that tasks done is safely saved since it will be backed up.
