I try to write these updated reports to keep our mentors motivated as we move along in the Actifit mentorship program.

From the interaction in the Discord Mentor chat room, we get to know how our mentors are progressing in this program. Drop in and keep us updated in the #mentor-chat room.

B. Deadline Extended to July 1, 2019

After chatting with a few mentors and @Mcfarhat, we decided that we will extend the deadline for the Actifit Mentoring Program to July 1st. In this way, they will get ample time to mentor the newbies to become active in using the Actifit app for at least 10 days.

A lot of other events are going on in Steem at this time. We want the Actifit mentors to also participate in the contest hosted by @steemonboarding, thus another reason for extending the deadline.

C. Let's Win Together as an Actifit Community

One of the great fun of being a mentor is to reach out to people outside of Steemit. You can test your skill and ability to see how many people you can get to sign up to Actifit.

Right now, Steemonboarding is running a Contest: Operation Mass Adoption! Please read the detail of the contest in their contest post.

I want to coincide our Actifit Mentoring Program to the Steemonboarding Contest so that you can win as many prizes as possible for your mentoring work.

• You can take this opportunity to compete for the 1,200 liquid STEEM prize pool by onboarding new users onto Steem.

• In the Steemonboarding Operation Mass Adoption - A Prize is given to the Most Engaging Community. D. Get New Users to Write An Introductory Post

For those mentees who sign up with your referral link as shown above, please ask your mentees to write an introductory post.

This introductory post is important for you to win your prizes in the Operation Mass Adoption Contest hosted by @steemonboarding.

Mentor the newbies to include the following in their introductory post:

• your username as the one who invited them
• why they join Steem
• why they join Actifit
• they must use the tag: #newonsteem
• the introductory post must be written before Wednesday, June the 12th at 23:59 PST for the contest hosted by @steemonboarding

F. Progress Report from Our Actifit Mentors

A few weeks ago, I wrote a report requesting our 12 awesome Acifit mentors to share with us the progress of their mentoring work.

In the short report, I asked them to share hints and tips of their mentoring work. In their reports they addressed some of these issues:

• Are you able to onboard new users outside of Steem?

• Do you find it easier to onboard new users who are already on Steem?

• What are some of the challenges you are facing in the mentoring program?

• How many mentees are you able to get in the last couple of weeks? In no way are we in any competition because rewards will be given to 10 mentees reaching ten days of activities. I just want to get a general idea of what the situation is so that I can monitor the mentoring progress better.

• Share with us tips that have worked for you in mentoring Actifit users.

• Share with us what doesn't work quite well for you in the Actifit mentoring process.

I have received this great report by @alokkumar121 on My Actifit Mentor Progress Report

@alokkumar121 has given fantastic tips to our mentors and the progress he is making with his mentees. He is able to bring in new users to sign in for the Actifit app as well as mentoring Actifit newbies on Steem.

Here are some tips you can use:

• he maintains an Excel list of users whom he invites

• he tracks their progress every day.

• he reminds them every day to make their activity post.

• the AFIT token exchange Initiative has also been very helpful for him to bring more users.

• he shares with his mentees how to exchange AFIT tokens for upvote.

As you can see, the coaching part of a mentor is very important. Last time, @Cheese4ead shared with us about setting up Team Gazza in motivating and inspiring his mentees.

Mentoring work is not easy. It takes lots of patience and wisdom to help a newbie to gain some initial success.

G. Next Upcoming Event: June 10, 2019

Now that the mentorship program has already begun for 4 weeks, we want to invite all our 12 Actifit mentors to get more involved in the #mentor-chat room so that we can hear about your progress.

From direct communications with some of the mentors, I know that some of them are doing quite well in their mentoring work.

I invite all the 12 mentors to continue to write progress reports to share with us what works for you so that we can grow the Actifit community together form strength to strength.
