this is nice, emoticons should be look into but i disagree with adding it with voting power percent as you mention here

In this case i suggest that a percentage should be designated to each reactions (check the image below for a list of reactions from facebook.com), the thumbs up (100% upvote), heart (75%), laugh (50%), surprise(25%), sad(-50% downvote), angry(-100% downvote). Better still it could be a slider!. This could be made available to everyone or only to those with 5000sp and above.
