Live Interactive Polls & Real-Time Visualization
It would be great to add a new live interactive element to collect polls and engage followers in real time.
Users can setup polls instantly, customize questions and automatically integrate live visualization of incoming answers.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Choose from a variety of poll activities, such as open response, multiple choice, rank order, images, and up- and down-voting.
- You can ask a question within your posts and see as it updates automatically with responses from followers as they participate.
- When you refresh your post back, you’ll be able to find out which answer got the most votes.
YES/NO QUESTIONS
Ask the audience a simple question. These are basic, but really effective. Plus, they’re likely to get the most amount of users participating, because they’re quick and simple to answer.
Here are some yes/no question ideas:
Would you prefer…?
Do you like…?
Have you tried…?
THIS OR THAT QUESTIONS
This or that questions are a great way to get to know your audience. Users can get some feedback on a new post for a specific purpose. Let’s take the tutorial example. Create a guideline with two methods and ask the questions, "which do you prefer?"
By automatically showing your audience both things within your post, it will allow them to make a more informed choice.
ASK FOR WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE NEEDS
Certainly another fantastic way to learn more about your audience. “Do you need guidelines for ___ or ___?”
Whichever option gets the most votes, you can then turn it into a post or even a series of tutorials and make it dynamic for your audience!
GET FEEDBACK
While you can get comments as well, this is a creative way to get feedback and learn more about your audience. If you’re strategic about how you implement polls, you can get some really valuable insights into your target audience to help you grow your profile.
Ask them about their locations, their preferences, and much more. This feature can be a great way to get more insight into who your tribe is and get your audience involved.
This can work very well since users can collect data in their post and personalize accordingly.
Have you used polls on other social channels yet? Create polls. Write them like they are friends as opposed to “customers or followers.” xx, wittydoll
