I recommend Iceland. There are pretty reasonable flights from Boston, Baltimore, and San Francisco so without knowing where you are, there's a good chance you are near one of these three airports. Iceland is incredible. The landscapes, the activities (scuba diving, hiking, ATVs), the food, the people, the hot springs. I could go on and on.
