Amazing Packets of Cambodian Vegan Sweetness! 😄
I was in the market in Cambodia recently and saw these lovely vegan sweets for sale. I couldn’t resist buying some and they were delicious.
This one appears to be gluttonous rice wrapped in a kind of leaf - perhaps banana? Inside this little parcel of goodness is a smear of what looks like mango flesh or paste.
They seem to have been steemed directly in the leaf. I ate them all in one sitting! 😉
At the market I also picked up a second round of tasty snacks. These seem to be some kind of pancake with coconut and something crunchy inside - perhaps peanuts or some other kind of nut.

I am finding more of these vegan treats in the markets of Cambodia. I will keep my eyes out for some more and post if I find some!

Hahaha! Yes I ate them all in one go! It was kind of breakfast and lunch. They are very moorish... I will get more! 😉

Hahaha! You might be able to find them but I don't think they are that hard to make. I might look into a recipe at some point! 🍍
Actually, now that you mention recipes, that second one almost resembles a crepe. I'll post pictures when I blow up my kitchen... LOL
