Courage in the late afternoon
Some images are not only captured by the eye, but also deeply embedded in the heart. One such scene reminded me—the greatest courage in life is not always being strong, but not bowing down to injustice.

A narrow street in a small neighborhood. The soft afternoon light is spread all around. A few children are busy playing. The sound of their laughter fills the air. But in the midst of that joy, an older boy is trying to assert his power by scaring a weaker child. Others are watching from a distance, no one is coming forward.
Just then, a little boy bravely stood up. His body may have lacked strength, but he had the power of truth within him. He knew that remaining silent in the face of injustice means making injustice stronger.
I started thinking, isn't our real life like this too? How many people in the workplace, family, or society tolerate injustice every day just out of fear. Some keep quiet for fear of losing their jobs, some can't tell the truth for fear of ruining their relationships, and some lose the courage to protest for fear of being alone.

But history has proven time and again that the world has been changed by those people who have stood by the truth even when they are alone. Courage does not mean never being afraid. Courage means deciding to conquer fear and do the right thing.
Like that little boy that day, there are many moments in each of our lives when we have to decide—will we remain a silent spectator, or will we take a small step against injustice? Maybe that step will not change the world, but it can become a light of hope in someone's life.
We often think that it takes great power to bring about big changes. But the truth is, big changes start with small, courageous decisions. A kind word, a protest, a compassionate hand, or a firm stand against injustice—all these things make a society beautiful.
In today's world, as technology has advanced, the humanity within people has been put to the test. Therefore, we should not only teach children to study, but also to teach them the difference between right and wrong. Because a brave and honest person is much more valuable to society than thousands of educated but silent people.
The more I look at the picture, the more I feel that courage has no age, no big identity. True courage is born from an honest heart. And that courage will one day defeat injustice and illuminate the path of justice.
I believe that we don't all have to be heroes to make the world beautiful. We can become a good person only by not being silent in the face of injustice. And the courage of a good person will one day become the foundation for building a beautiful society.
