Respect for the poor, a lesson

Hello my friends,
This is my participation in the competition” Art and Writing Contest #169 Hosted by @solperez

Elena, one of the wives of a noble family, grew up in a very elegant environment. Fortunately, she had no sons and only two daughters: Tia, 16, and Roma, 14. As is typical of wealthy families, these three led a life of luxury. Neither of them ever experienced financial hardship.

While Elena, as a mother, spared no effort to instill in her daughters the best values, yet because they were so aristocratic and wealthy, they had no idea of the existence of the poor in society.

As a result, both daughters became extremely rude and frequently mistreated the poor employees. Elena's husband, who had the image of a kind head of state, became aware of the girls' behavior toward the employees. He then decided that one day he would teach his daughters a lesson.

With this intention, he sent his wife and daughters to wander through a garden. No one could be seen in this garden for miles around. It was a royal garden, where entry to common people, especially the poor, was prohibited.

While Elena and her two daughters were enjoying the beauty of the garden, their father, the head of the kingdom, arrived disguised as a very poor man. None of the three recognized his disguise, and Elan began shouting at him, asking how he had gotten in.

He called out loudly to the guards, but the chief had ordered no one to enter. Then, like a beggar, the chief began begging for something, much to the disgust of the mother and daughters.

Then, suddenly the chief spoke in his real voice and explained that the poor, beggars, and the helpless should not be insulted in this way; they too are human beings.

Elana and her daughters came to understand and all three of them now behave well towards their employees.

I also want to invite here @cruzamilcar63 @aviral123 and @paholags
With lots of love and respect,
Sur-riti❤️

Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.

You are absolutely right, but in some overpopulated countries, it is possible that people become lazy along with poverty.

Your comments are always a gift to me.

Thank you with respect.

¡Holaaa amigo!🤗

Hello friend,
You are a girl full of beautiful thoughts. This world is full of good and bad people. Pride in wealth is a natural factor. But some of these people are kind and compassionate despite their wealth. Many, almost all, rich people hate the poor.
Thank you very much for your comment.
