This is not only for my Republican friends to ask them to uphold the essential social and moral principles that made this country great, but also my Democratic friends that through the myopic essay, "the paradox of tolerance" in my face every time I said we need uniform and liberal standards of freedom of speech that don't equate it to violence and that apply to every sector of our society.

Does anybody remember the biblical principle, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" That is literally the Golden rule and a rule that's present in every major religion in the world as a core feature of morality. It's not there just to be nice, it's there because you can't have a society that lasts and grows without it. Anything else is a vote for decline and anarchy.
