How long time goes by in a lonely station
To wait another hour, the long-awaited moment,
When in a noisy second-class carriage
You will go, rushing and stove.
Through the darkness of the night and foggy web
And through the frightened city lights
Although I probably are you waiting for
In the way I am, forgive me.
