This is Venezuela!!!!!
Venezuela is located in the extreme north of the South American continent, facing the Caribbean Sea. Due to its location in the tropical zone, it has a climate with small temperature variations throughout the year and two well-marked seasons, which are differentiated by the level of precipitation. The rainy season extends from June to November and dries from December to May. Although the climate is apparently homogeneous, there is a great diversity of landscapes due to the influence of the Alisios winds on the relief. In this sense, the landscapes are clearly influenced by height, so on the side of a mountain semi-arid ecosystems can be presented at sea level and cloudy forests at heights above 1,500 meters.
Due to this diversity of natural environments, large areas of the national territory have been destined to conserve ecosystems. That is why Venezuela has approximately 12.5% of its surface as National Parks, Natural Monuments, and Wildlife Refuges and Reserves. The extensive chain of marine parks conserves the coastal coral, mangrove and terrestrial ecosystems; the mountains of the Andes, the environments of páramo and great heights; the Cordillera de la Costa, the cloud forests; the plains, the savanna ecosystems and in Guayana the unique vegetation of the tepuy and immense rain forests. Each of them worthy and unique example in its category and all of them magnificent environments for ecological tourism. From Venezuela we can say that it is characterized by the contrast and the great diversity of its physical, biological and panoramic features, it is an enormously rich and privileged land with splendid landscapes of coast, plain, mountain and jungle. In all of them the multiple and unimaginable shapes and colors are offered to the visitor in an overwhelming sequence of nuances that are in permanent transformation.
