I have moved all my content away from the now centralized and controlled Steem blockchain to the decentralized Hive blockchain.
What kinda reward are we talking about exactly, I need some inspiration! I upvoted you cuz im cool like that.
How about a Tip! :)

I do declare! A tip for me! You are very kind @flauwy! I'm feeling inspired now. Does it get any better after the dreaded first months?
@flauwy, how can i repay the gesture? I upvoted a bunch of your stuff.
I am minnow who joined in August. This video is really helpful. I am still confused with resteem service. It seems really risky bet to send 2 sbd to make ROI of 2 sbd if the content is not very good or get lucky by getting noticed.
Also, though I did not use whaleshares/beyondbit tokens, as far as know they works though the process is little bit complex. One has to buy BTS, send it to openledger, buy Whaleshares, then enter to an website.
Hey, welcome to Steemit. I don't think I ever said you will return your money when you use resteeming services. Quite the contrary. You are guaranteed to loose the money. However, you will get some readers. But if you are brand new you probably have no clue how to attract readers in the first place. So I don't think anyone should use resteeming just like that. Only if you have a really good post and it probbaly already got some good upvotes, then it is a good idea to resteem. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough.
Everyone has to keep at it and grind on while they steem on!
Yeah exactly: Grinding Steemit is the right term because it is nothing else as upleveling your World of Warcraft char. We even have Discord and Gold. ;)
Very true good point. Stay safe and get sleep to rest those fingers. lol
Hah, after enough sleep my fingers ready for another round. ;)

Nice, thank u for sharing, followed
Awesome! Steem on.
Thank you, this is a great video. I love the view of the coffee plants!
I am brand new here, literally haven't made a post yet, so all of your information and words of encouragement were exactly what I needed to hear. I appreciate the time you've taken to shepherd the newbies along into the flock.
Djen
Here is a little Tip! for your start here.
Thank you, this is such a gracious thing to do for people starting out. I really appreciate it. :-)
Use it wisely, young Steemian!
Hey @djen, welcome to Steemit! Awesome that you found your way to my post. It is not easy to get people to read your stuff here. You must put an effort into it for every single reader and follower until things start to roll by itself.
You are a saint! I learned so much from your video. And, I really appreciate your following up. It can be lonely out here, and it's so much fun to have a reply to click and read. :-D
I am learning both from your video and your actions. I can see how this could be a welcoming place if people follow your example.
It is not just me doing this. There are many great Steemians out there producing useful content. It is just that Steemit distribution of posts is rubbish for now. But since there are so many other benefits we kind of have to push through the difficult first weeks.
Take a Tip! for your ride. :)

Fabulous post @flauwy - Good what you said about thumbnails. I was wondering if there's any way in or outside steemit to get a thumbnail preview? It sucks to share a post and then immediately realise the thumbnail pic sucks and doesn't give the photo/picture justice - and then scramble to improve it :/
You touched on many other things, namely, developing relationships on the platform. I need to put more into this aspect, for sure. Oh, and using emojis too. Nice tip.
And lastly, so cool that Steemit is providing for you and your family in Costa Rica.
Steem on!

Thx @steemmeupscotty. Awesome name by the way!
There is no preview for the thumbnail. But my Photoshop template is 840x486px and fits perfectly.
Cool - thanks :) I'll try those measurements - and thanks for the Tip!
Hey, it was my pleasure. :)
Take a Tip!
Very nice video and I think there is not enough information and help for Minnows that are getting started! I was honestly also about to give up in the beginning, but then I thought long and hard, and I realized a key is to make post that have value. That means that i give something to the community that other people think is valuable, and thus in a sense our commmnity strengthen because of it. Like you said in the video, a post which is thoughtlessly thrown together and posted is of no real value and thus it won't get any good response. One has to also realize that steemit is not like Facebook where you just post and then wait. Steemit is about giving and getting and I honestly think it's a good idea in the beginning to focus around 80 percent of the time on curating and commenting to build some followers. The comments should not be random but thoughtful and honest l- it makes all the difference. This way when you make posts later they will be seen, as opposed in the beginning when you don't have any followers and you rely on the news page ! Great Post - Resteemed!

@dandesign86 I am a total newbie on steemit, thank you so much for the good advice.
It's my pleasure! Most of us here all start out as neewbs ! But everyone has the chance to become a whale, it's up to how much work you want to put in !
Thank you @dandesign86. You are right, giving is the best way to receive on Steemit (and maybe in life?). One leads to the other and all of a sudden you are in a better position than before because of a little work you did for somebody else.
Exactly, that is the key, steemit like you say is no magical place where money grow on trees, you have to work for it just like in real life ! Thanks for your tip and I hope as many people as possible get to read this post !
And thanks for the Resteem! Tip!
Thanks for the valuable info! I've just started myself, posting my art, commenting/replying to comments, and re-steeming! It's tough withing the first month, but I gonna keep on trying, especially now that I have good info from you! :) Thanks so much!
Good luck with everything and Steem on!
Thanks! Same to you
You are really annoying ... giving interesting content and able to be in Costa Rica. I am jealous.
:+1:
Yeah, I am living a really good live and I am very grateful for that. But believe me, this wasn't an easy path for me at all. I just worked hard and followed my heart. When I came to Costa Rica I had NO MONEY in my pockets. Crazy, right? I made it though. You just need to believe in you.
I'm just back from grocery shopping ... so I am halfway there - no money in my pockets.
LOL! That's a good one :D
