VIKRANT RONA is the tale of a cop attempting to settle a troublesome case. A cop named Suresh Krishna is posted in the town of Kamarottu. He strangely gets killed. Reviewer Vikrant Rona (Kichcha Sudeepa) is moved to Kamarottu and told to assume up Suresh's position. Vikrant shows up in Kamarottu with his girl Guddi (Samhitha). His vehicle's tire gets penetrated when he enters the town. Vikrant begins exploring the homicide of Suresh Krishna and this is where he discovers that almost 16 youngsters have been killed in the town. The locals accept that the town is spooky and a malevolent soul is behind these homicides.

An equal track going in the film is that of Sanju (Nirup Bhandari). He is the child of Janardhan Gambhira (Madhusudhan Rao) and had taken off from Kamarottu as a youngster after he was discovered taking gold from the town sanctuary. He returns after almost 26 years. Janardhan, notwithstanding, doesn't permit him to go into his home. The other visitor who shows up in Kamarottu is Janardhan's child Vishwanath (Ravishankar Gowda). He is visiting alongside his girl Aparna otherwise known as Panna (Neetha Ashok) and child Munna (Siddu Moolimani). Aparna's marriage is fixed with a man named Rakesh and Vishwanath needs to get the marriage down in their hereditary house. Janardhan rejects at first as the house, viewed as spooky, is closed since Sanju took the gold almost quite a while back. Vikrant understands that there may be an association between the killings and that of Janardhan's relatives. What occurs next structures the remainder of the film.
