Khangsar village

Khangsar village is a quiet, windswept settlement tucked deep in the Upper Mustang region of Nepal, where the Himalayas open into a stark, high-altitude desert. Sitting above the Kali Gandaki River, Khangsar feels remote even by Mustang standards—surrounded by barren cliffs, wide skies, and snow-dusted peaks that seem to stretch forever.
The village is small and traditional, with flat-roofed stone houses built close together to shield against the cold winds.
