Bitcoin hits below $8K
The downturn of bitcoin in the past few days seems to have been a little rested, and it picked up slightly on Thursday morning.
After a double blow from Google, which prohibits online advertising related to electronic money, and the International Monetary Fund, which urges the International Monetary Fund to crack down on the use of cryptocurrencies for money laundering, it began to decline on Wednesday.
Bitcoin below 8K U.S. dollars
The first bitcoin fell below $9,000 and then continued to rise, passing $8,000 on Thursday morning. It set a low of about $7,676, which is the lowest level in five weeks, and then rebounded again. At the time of this writing, about 8 am Eastern Time, a bitcoin is worth about $8,300.
The volatility of Google and the International Monetary Fund may not be comprehensive. Also on Wednesday in the House of Representatives Capital Markets, Securities and Investment Subcommittee hearing, some members of Congress expressed strong dislikes of the cryptocurrency.
