Why can't we quit?

Government is like a bad drug addiction. People will turn to substance abuse because it offers a temporary solution to their problems(not long term). Everybody knows it isn't helping much, but you have to have it even if it is killing you. Failure to value yourself leads to a failure to take ownership of yourself. The individual begins to rely on government in order to cope with life.
