This is a Waivio bot service.
It is being used to maintain Object Reference Protocol on Steem blockchain WaivioDev . Objects consist of multiple fields (name, title, icon, description, address, ratings, tags, photos, etc.) and community can vote for each value separately. For that purpose each submission is recorded as a separate post/comment on the blockchain.
Waivio bots are being used to record these individual fields on the Steem blockchain on behalf of users for three reasons:
· ensure fairness of the voting process (initiating author cannot change the record at a later date);
· avoid technical posts in user feeds;
· allow users with limited resource credits to contribute to the knowledge base.
In order to avoid abuse, initiating authors are required to upvote each new record with voting power equivalent of at least $0.001 to ensure validity of posted content.
Initiating authors receive 70% of author rewards for these posts in addition to standard curation rewards.
