A Wonderful Walk Wednesday
Today started off looking nice, even if it was a bit cold.

As you can see from my street, the leaves this year in Michigan are just not all that amazing. I keep thinking, give it time but we are getting late in the year. I think we got robbed of our Fall colors!!!
This tree in front of my neighbor's house reminds us to never give up. Looks like a good portion of his main trunk was blown off by a storm. So the tree just went to the right lol. Doing what needs doing as people walk by.

The pretty ivy is ubiquitous, but looks nice.
Trees are not the only ones that are getting for the Winter...
Only a few Sumac seed thingies are hanging on.
By this time of year, even the flowers are looking a bit long in the tooth.
Yeah even some Old Guys are looking, well, a bit long in the tooth as well!! LOL
Looks like a grand day out in the fall. Love this time of year. It's just MADE for photography. And what a dashing model that last guy is in the alpenglow. Can you say major magazine cover?
I've made lemonade, rather sumac-ade, out of the sumac berries. Not sure which one is which, but they taste pretty darn tart and good. I leave the ID up to HH. But once the rains come, the sap gets washed off and they just taste like a piece of wood. Oh, the joys of fall.
Oh yes HH sure knows her stuff!
The only magazine cover this mug is going on is "Put Out to Pasture" LOL
Instead of fall colours you have late summer colours.

Surprised the fall colors have not shown up yet for you guys. I keep waiting for your first pictures of Michigan snow now, lol.
Wow, surprising they haven't changed yet. They have here, err, the ones in the shade, or some species anyways, and we're about the same parallel right? And I thought you got cold air off the lake too?!
They like went right to brown or down lol.
I got some coloured fall tree photos for ya, maybe tomorrow when I feel I can post about something mundane. But not today...

I to am looking old in the tooth especially at this time of the morning LOL
A week ago I would have said the same some trees were starting to look bare and no colors, but then things all changed in a few days so I hope you get some color still there
